Tesla’s Success did not happen overnight, it was found in 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Elon Musk, JB Straubel, Ian Wright later joined the company. From their beginning in 2008, they sold over 50,000 from the Roadster Model. It was the first American car maker to go public since the Ford Motor Company had its Initial Public Offering in 1956. In the first quarter of 2013, Tesla posted profits for the first time since its beginning. Tesla entered the media spotlight in 2013 along with its CEO Elon Musk when it unleashed its flagship car the Model S, it received top ratings from the trade industry and the press as a five stars’ car and as the best car ever tested, and sales reached up to 10,000 cars by 2015 With a Revenue US$3.198 billion!
